1948 – Russell Mael
Russell Craig Mael is an American singer, songwriter and record producer.
Mael’s music career spans more than 50 years. With his elder brother Ron, he formed the pop band Sparks in 1971, which was renamed from Halfnelson. He is also the co-founder of Lil’ Beethoven Records.
1950 – Dave Thomas
Dave Thomas is a former professional footballer and England international who played as a midfielder. An extremely skillful and fast player, for much of his career his trademark was playing without shin pads; something that would be contrary to the rules of the game today.
He made his senior debut in Burnley’s 8-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the 1966/67 season.
He had a long and successful playing career, playing for almost 20 years and totalling over 450 league appearances whilst playing for Burnley, QPR, Everton, Vancouver Whitecaps, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers. He won 8 England caps overall whilst at Queens Park Rangers. His first England cap was given to him by manager Don Revie on 30 October 1974 in a 3–0 win against Czechoslovakia. He set up the first goal in the game. In 1981, he played a single summer season with the Vancouver Whitecaps in the North American Soccer League.

1975 – Kate Winslet
Kate Elizabeth Winslet, CBE, is an English actress. She is the recipient of an Academy Award, three BAFTA Awards, a BIFA Award, four Golden Globe Awards, a Grammy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, an AACTA Award, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. Winslet is the youngest person to receive six Academy Award nominations, with seven nominations in total, and is one of the few actresses to win three of the four major American entertainment awards (EGOT). In addition, she has won awards from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts and European Film Academy, among others, and the Honorary César Award in 2012.

Parminder Kaur Nagra is a British film and television actress, known for playing Jess in the 2002 film Bend It Like Beckham and Dr. Neela Rasgotra in the NBC medical drama ER from 2003 to 2009. She has had several other major television roles, including a starring role as Meera Malik in the NBC crime drama The Blacklist from 2013 to 2014 and a recurring role on the ABC/Marvel Television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as Ellen Nadeer for its 4th season.
