1958 – Gary Numan
Gary Anthony James Webb, known professionally as Gary Numan, is an English singer, songwriter, composer, musician and record producer. Born in Hammersmith, West London, he first entered the music industry as lead singer of the new wave band Tubeway Army. After releasing two albums with the band, Numan released his debut solo album The Pleasure Principle in 1979. With number-one singles “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?” and “Cars”, Numan achieved his peak of mainstream popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but maintains a cult following. His signature sound consists of heavy synthesiser hooks fed through guitar effects pedals, and he is considered a pioneer of commercial electronic music. Numan is also known for his distinctive voice and androgynous “android” persona. In 2017 he received an Ivor Novello Award, the Inspiration Award, from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.
1959 – Aidan Quinn
Aidan Quinn is an Irish-American actor, who made his film debut in Reckless (1984). He currently plays Captain Thomas “Tommy” Gregson in the CBS television series Elementary.
1971 – Kit Symons
Christopher Jeremiah “Kit” Symons is a professional association football manager and former Welsh international footballer. As a professional player, he had lengthy spells at Portsmouth, Manchester City and Fulham as well as earning 36 caps for the Wales national football team. He is currently the assistant manager of Sunderland.
Symons played 204 times for Portsmouth scoring 11 goals between 1988 – 1995
1976 – Freddie Prinze Jr.
Freddie James Prinze Jr. is an American actor. He starred in several films, such as I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), She’s All That (1999), Scooby-Doo (2002), and its sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). Prinze has also had recurring and starring roles in television shows, including Friends (2002), Boston Legal (2004), Freddie (2005–06), but the best known of which is his role as Cole Ortiz on the main cast of the FOX hit espionage thriller 24 (2010). He is currently the voice of Kanan Jarrus in the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels.
1977 – James Van Der Beek
James David Van Der Beek is an American actor. He is best known for his portrayal of Dawson Leery in the WB series Dawson’s Creek. He played a fictionalized version of himself on the cult ABC sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23, and, most recently, starred in CSI: Cyber as FBI Special Agent Elijah Mundo. His film roles include Varsity Blues (1999) and The Rules of Attraction (2002).
