Robert Arthur Moog, founder of Moog Music, was an American engineer and pioneer of electronic music, best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer. During his lifetime, Moog founded two companies for manufacturing electronic musical instruments. William Henry Hartnell was an English actor. Hartnell played the first incarnation of the Doctor in Doctor Who, from 1963 to 1966. He was also well known for his role as Sergeant Grimshaw, the title character of the first Carry On film, Carry On Sergeant in 1958, and Company Sergeant Major Percy Bullimore in the sitcom The Army Game from 1957 until 1958, and again in 1960.

1950 – Phil Roberts

Phillip Stanley “Phil” Roberts is a Welsh former professional footballer whose four-club career spanned three decades. Born in Cardiff, Roberts won six Wales Under 23 caps whilst with his first club Bristol Rovers (where he is still widely regarded). In all Roberts was to make 175 appearances for Rovers before moving to Portsmouth in the 1973 close season as part of new chairman John Deacon’s ambitious re-building plans. He was to prove such an effective player on the south coast that in 1974 he was awarded four full Welsh caps. Roberts was to hold the right back spot at Fratton Park for four seasons, his final appearance being in the 5–1 thrashing which consigned the club to fourth division football for the first time in their history. A very brief spell with Hereford United followed before another 100-plus stint with Exeter City ended a successful Football League career.

Roberts played 182 times for Portsmouth scoring 1 goal between 1973 – 1978

1965 – Lloyd McGrath

Lloyd McGrath is an English retired professional footballer.

A hard-working midfielder, McGrath made his senior debut for Coventry City on 28 April 1984 in one of their heaviest defeats ever – an 8-2 Football League First Division defeat at Southampton. However, three years later he took part in the biggest success of their history so far – the 1987 FA Cup Final triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.He set up the winning goal with a cross that was deflected off the knee of Gary Mabbutt.

By the time of his departure to Portsmouth at the end of the 1993-94 season, when the Sky Blues finished 11th in the FA Premier League, he had played 214 league games for the club and scored four goals.

He played for Pompey for the rest of his professional career, retiring in 1997. He now has business interests in the north of Coventry as licensee of the Hawkesmill Social Club.

McGrath played 21 times for Portsmouth between 1994 – 1995

Anna Kay Faris is an American actress, producer, model, comedian, and occasional singer. She rose to prominence for her work in comedic roles, particularly the lead part of Cindy Campbell in the first four Scary Movie films. Cornelius Crane “Chevy” Chase is an American actor and comedian. Born into a prominent New York family, he worked a variety of jobs before moving into comedy and began acting with National Lampoon. He became a key cast member in the debut season of Saturday Night Live, where his recurring Weekend Update segment soon became a staple of the show. As both a performer and writer, he earned three Primetime Emmy Awards out of five nominations.

Chase had his first leading film role in the comedy Foul Play (1978), earning two Golden Globe Award nominations. He is further known for his portrayals of Clark Griswold in five National Lampoon’s Vacation films and Irwin “Fletch” Fletcher in both Fletch (1985) and Fletch Lives (1989). Other prominent titles include Caddyshack (1980), Seems Like Old Times (1980), Spies Like Us (1985), ¡Three Amigos! (1986), Memoirs of an Invisible Man (1992), Orange County (2002) and Hot Tub Time Machine (2010).
