1949 – Bill Nighy

William Francis Nighy is an English actor and voice artist. He worked in theatre and television before his first cinema role in 1981, and made his name in television with The Men’s Room in 1991, in which he played the womaniser Prof. Mark Carleton.

Nighy became widely known for his performance as Billy Mack in Love Actually. Other notable roles in cinema include his portrayal of Davy Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean film series, as well as Viktor in the Underworld film series.

He is also known for his roles in the films Lawless Heart, I Capture the Castle, Shaun of the Dead, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Notes on a Scandal, Hot Fuzz, Valkyrie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1, Rango and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. His performances were also acclaimed in the State of Play series and in the TV films The Girl in the Café, Gideon’s Daughter and Page Eight, for which he earned Golden Globe nominations, winning one for Gideon’s Daughter.

Mayim Chaya Bialik is an American actress and neuroscientist. From 1991 to 1995, she played the title character of NBC’s Blossom. Since 2010, she has played Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler – like the actress, a neuroscientist – on CBS’s The Big Bang Theory, a role for which she has been nominated four times for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and won a Critic’s Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

1964 – Ray Daniel

Raymond “Ray” Daniel is an English former professional footballer. Born in Luton, he began his career with his hometown club Luton Town and later played for Gillingham, Hull City, Cardiff City, Portsmouth, Notts County and Walsall. He made over 250 appearances in The Football League between 1982 and 1997. He helped Portsmouth to the 1992 FA Cup semi final, but they lost in a penalty shoot-out to Liverpool.

Lewis Edward Buxton is an English professional footballer who last played as a defender for Bolton Wanderers.

Buxton began his career with Portsmouth where he progressed through the youth ranks at the club. He gained first team experience with loan spells at Exeter City and Bournemouth. He joined Stoke City in January 2005 in order to find first team football. His time at the Britannia Stadium was hampered by injury and he left for Sheffield Wednesday in October 2008. With the Owls Buxton established himself as a regular member of the team and spent seven years, making 207 appearances.

Lloyd Vernet “Beau” Bridges III is an American actor and director. He is a three-time Emmy, two-time Golden Globe and one-time Grammy Award winner. He is also a two-time Screen Actors Guild Award nominee. Bridges was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 7, 2003 at 7065 Hollywood Boulevard for his contributions to the television industry. He is the son of actor Lloyd Bridges and elder brother of fellow actor Jeff Bridges.

Michael Dorn is an American actor and voice artist who is known for his role as the Klingon Worf in the Star Trek franchise.

From his first appearance in the series premiere episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, “Encounter at Farpoint”, to his last in Star Trek: Nemesis, Dorn has appeared more times as a regular cast member than any other Star Trek actor in the franchise’s history, spanning five films and 272 television episodes. He also appeared as Worf’s ancestor, Colonel Worf, in the film Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

Following the end of his Star Trek career, Dorn had supporting roles in a number of independent feature films, including Shadow Hours (2000), Lessons for an Assassin (2001), and the Santa Clause trilogy, in which he appeared in a cameo role as “The Sandman”.

Simon Maxwell Helberg is an American actor, comedian, and musician, best known for his role as Howard Wolowitz in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory (2007–), for which he won a Critics’ Choice Television Award in 2013.

Helberg has appeared on the sketch comedy series MADtv and is also known for his role as Moist in Joss Whedon’s web miniseries Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (2008). He has further performed in films such as Old School (2003), Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) and A Serious Man (2009). For portraying Cosmé McMoon in Florence Foster Jenkins (2016), he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture.

1983 – Valery Mezague

Valery Mezague was a Cameroonian footballer. He was a midfielder and last played for Sporting Toulon Var.

A French-born player, Mézague represented Cameroon at international level. His most notable moment with the Lions Indomptables was at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he became the starter central midfielder in the lost final against host France, after replacing the late Marc-Vivien Foé during the victorious semifinal versus Colombia.

In 2003, he was involved in a serious car crash which ruled him out of the game for four months. Despite this he fought back to reclaim his form and his performances attracted the attention of Harry Redknapp, with Mézague joining Portsmouth F.C. on loan for the 2004/05 season. However, he failed to make any sort of substantial impression and returned to France in June 2005, where he followed his former manager at Portsmouth Alain Perrin to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.

He was found dead in his apartment on 15 November 2014 due to a cardiac arrest caused by a heart disease.

Mezague played 14 times for Portsmouth between 2004 – 2005

Shiri Freda Appleby is an American actress. She is known for her leading role as Liz Parker in the television series Roswell. Emily Jane Browning is an Australian actress and singer.

Browning made her film debut in the Australian television film The Echo of Thunder; subsequently, she played recurring roles in the Australian television shows Blue Heelers and Something in the Air. Her breakthrough role was in the 2002 horror film Ghost Ship, which introduced her to a wider audience. In 2005, Browning won the Australian Film Institute International Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Violet Baudelaire in the film Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004).

Browning is also known for her roles in the horror film The Uninvited (2009), the action film Sucker Punch (2011), and the independent drama Sleeping Beauty (2011). Melvin Kenneth “Mel” Smith was an English comedian, writer, film director, producer and actor.

Smith worked on the sketch comedy shows Not the Nine O’Clock News and Alas Smith and Jones along with his comedy partner Griff Rhys Jones. Smith and Jones founded Talkback, which grew to be one of the UK’s largest producers of television comedy and light entertainment programming.

George Frederick Joffre Hartree, known as Charles Hawtrey, was an English comedy actor and musician.

Beginning at an early age as a boy soprano, he made several records before moving on to the radio. His later career encompassed the theatre (as both actor and director), the cinema (where he regularly appeared supporting Will Hay in the 1930s and 1940s in films such as The Ghost of St. Michael’s), through the Carry On films, and television.
