To all the management and staff of Southern Railway I would like to wish you all a miserable Christmas and hope the New Year brings you many job losses and ill health.
Just fucking sort your dispute out and get back to fucking work like the rest of us are trying to do. Does it really matter who presses the button that says “OPEN”
Total cunts the lot of you.
My name immortalised at Fratton Park (at least until the vandals get to it)
The list of shareholders that contributed in the saviour of Portsmouth Football Cub has gone up along the North Terrace and mine and my mothers are there.
I am also part of two other syndicates mentioned on there although my name is not included in the dedication.
First night out for EAB and a very nice Indian at the Indian Palace in Gunwharf.
Some very bad reviews of the place on TripAdvisor but can’t fault the food.
What we can fault is the bill which was about £300 over what we had already paid (£800 total). By the time the bill arrived about 6 people had left so the rest of us had to chip in to settle the bill.
Partly our own fault as we worked on drinks being included and the company picking up the bill but this year they didn’t. Some unfortunately took the piss and drank far more than the rest of us.
Will be fun on Monday when those who left will be asked for the excess.
First away game of the season to Cheltenham, what a journey!
Points frozen at Drayton a whole 5 mins into our almost 5 hour journey forcing us to Fratton!
So our journey now considered of…
Havant – Fratton – Bristol Temple Meads – Gloucester – Cheltenham (last part by bus)
Cheltenham – Swindon – Trowbridge – Southampton – Havant
Not doing that by rail again
Standing room only on two journeys, on one journey it was a train of only one coach and we got stuck with a bunch of very drunk Pompey fans who only knew one song. On the trip to Bristol about 95% of the train was reserved, luckily it got so crowded they didn’t let anyone else on after a while so we were not moved from our seats.
As for the game, well typical Portsmouth. Lots of passing and few attempts on goal. Followed by a defensive mishap to concede.
Still, I can add another ground to the list
Well that was a surprise!
Much like the Brexit vote the media popular opinion did not match the masses.
He may be a disaster but it’s great watching a load of lefties and celebrities complain about democracy again.
Tickets now purchase for the Janet Devlin World Tour (well UK Tour actually)
Currently one of my favourite singers, can’t wait
EDIT – Guess who fucked up big time! Yes me. Already seeing The Levellers that night. Double fuck. Hope she tours again
MusicBee, is in my opinion the best Music Player for the PC
The new version is now out and I like it, very configurable although it does still contain the odd bug but the writers are usually very good at sorting things out and as it’s free you can’t really complain.
It did unfortunately mess up my playlists and playcounts so everything has been reset and re-organised.
No it’s not mine, but this site has now been online, in its current form, for one year!
A few changes to format in that time, mainly in the logo and the menus.
Also on that very first day I announced the arrival of Kyle Bennett and Kal Naismith to Portsmouth. One of those was more successful than the other.
I’m a great fan of Eurovision and its combination of cheese and hot women. I try and blank out the women with beards and transexuals, not really my scene.
This year we have a good entry in Joe and Jake, as usual we probably have no chance of winning but at least this year I can honestly say we were robbed.
My prediction for top 3 is..
A couple of good rock songs from Georgia and Cyprus but not the sort to win Eurovision.
