Curtis Main

Mutual Consent

Portsmouth Football Club can announce that Curtis Main has left the club by mutual consent.

The 25-year-old striker has now signed for Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell.

He netted six goals in 23 appearances after arriving at Fratton Park from Doncaster in the summer of 2016.

Blues boss Kenny Jackett said: “We all felt that it was best for his future to take this great opportunity to join Motherwell.

“Various injuries have disrupted Curtis’ time at Pompey, while the arrivals of Brett Pitman and Oliver Hawkins have also limited his time on the pitch.

“But we thank him for everything he’s done for this club and wish him all the best for the future.”

Main played nine times this term, scoring the winner at Charlton to ensure Pompey finished top of their Checkatrade Trophy group.
